Leak detection in a Stone Coated Metal Roof

Detecting leaks in a metal roof is usually fairly simple. Since the metal roof itself does not leak, we begin at the nearest penetration in the roof. By removing a few tiles we can see any wetness near the penetration and by a matter of elimination find the leak. Water will usually travel along a rafter. Often the leak in the roof is not directly above where the water has come in.
Call Cal-Pac roofing if you your metal roof is leaking.

  1. You are right, detecting leaks in case of metal roofs is easier as compared to other roofing materials, this is a very easy and DIY method to spot the leaks. Many thanks!
